RESOLUTION NO. 6521
A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE STAFF VEHI-
CLE FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND ONE POOL VE-
HICLE, UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff to solicit bids
for one staff vehicle for the Fire Department and one 'pool vehicle; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for these items;
and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that the
following actions be taken:
1. That the Hertz Corporation of Millbrae be designated as low bidder for
one 1982 Plymouth Reliant for a total price of $5,724.00.
2. That all bids received for the Fire Department staff vehicle be re-
jected because the low bid submitted does not me~t our specifications
and the other bids received are of an excessive amount.
3. That Council authorize City Staff to purchase one 1983 Mercury ~1arquis
station wagon through the State of California, using their bid price
of $8,233.40.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
