A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE POLICE
PATROL VEHICLES UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACE-
MENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff to solicit
bids for five police patrol vehicles; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for this
item; and
WHEREAS, no bids were received by City Staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that the
following action be taken:
1. That Council direct City Staff to purchase five Dodge Diplomat
patrol vehicles from the State of California, using their bid
price of $8,487.28 per unit for a total of $42,436.40.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a regular meeting of the Council of said City on the eighteenth day of
April , 1983, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen. Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
