A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF NINE EMERGENCY
GENERATORS, UTILIZING REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff to solicit bids
for nine emergency generators; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were so l icited for these
items; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received and evaluated by the City Staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P~SOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that the
following actions be taken:
1. That the low bid received for six large generators be rejected, as it
does not meet the City's specifications.
2. That Marin Motorsports of San Rafael be designated as the lowest
qualified bidder for nine emergency generators for the Fire Department,
for a total price of $11,343.06.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing re~olution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
