A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5449 RE: VIACOM
CABLEVISION RATES FOR QUALIFIED SENIOR
CITIZENS AND QUALIFIED HANDICAPPED CITIZENS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael that Sections #2 and #3 of Resolution No. 5449 be
amended as follows:
#2 & #3. Viacom Cablevision shall grant to qualified
senior citizens and qualified handicapped citizens who reside
in the City of San Rafael a special primary service rate of
Two Dollars ($2.00) per month. A qualified senior citizen must
have attained sixty-two (62) years of age and have qualified for
Supplemental Security Income or Medi-Cal benefits. A qualified
handicapped citizen is one who has qualified for Social Security
Disability Income and/or Supplemental Security Income and, at
the time of application, is head of household as defined by the
Internal Revenue Service. The special rate shall be extended to
qualified senior citizens and qualified handicapped citizens
within sixty (60) days of their qualification therefor, the sub-
mission of a request therefor to be made to Viacom Cablevision
and said qualification to be determined by Viacom Cablevision.

hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
