A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ADDING TWO-HOUR PARK-
ING METERS TO A PORTION OF TAMALPAIS AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 5.60.020 of the San Rafael Municipal Code
authorizes the City Engineer to install parking meters within parking
meter zones as directed by Council resolution to provide for the
efficient control and regulation of parking; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that installing two
hour limit parking meters on a portion of Tamalpais Avenue would improve
parking efficiency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that parking meters with two
hour limits are established on the east side of Tamalpais Avenue
(west of the railroad tracks) between Third Street and Fourth Street;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective upon the installation of each meter.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City on Monday, the 18th day of July, 1983, by the
following vote, to wit:
