Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 6454 (Compensation City Employees)RESOLUTION NO. 6454 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6360, 6388, AND SUSPENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6389 PERTAINING TO THE COMPENSATION AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR CITY EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael desires to amend or suspend the above referenced resolutions by adding and/or removing selected position classes from one resolution and transferring them to one of the other resolutions; and WHEREAS, these amendments will in some cases result in changes in representation for purposes of collective bargain- ing; and WHEREAS, THE City of San Rafael and Marin Association of Public Employees (MAPE) have met and conferred with regard to those amendments affecting the composition of the Miscellaneous unit and are in agreement with the recommended changes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael as follows: Section 1. From and after the date of adoption of this Resolution, the City of San Rafael and the Marin Association of Public Employees (MAPE) shall utilize EXHIBIT "A", as amended and dated November 15, 1982 as the official document of reference respecting the composition of and compensation for Miscellaneous personnel; Section 2. Henceforth, employees holding positions in the classified service listed on EXHIBIT "A", as amended, will be subject and entitled to the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding dated July 19, 1982; Section 3. From and after the date of adoption of this Resolution, the Confidential Employees Resolution No. 6389 pertaining to Compensation is permanently suspended. - 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 6454 I, JEANNE M.
