RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
•CONFIRMING THE COST AND DIRECTING STAFF TO INITIATE
COLLECTION OF THE COST FROM THE PROPERTY OWNERS FOR ABATE-
MENT OF TREES AT GREENFIELD AND WEST END AVENUES
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 1, Chapter 1.20, Section 110
of the Municipal Code of the City of San Rafael, Alberto R.
Orsini and Mark E. Irwin were notified that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael did declare on February 16, 1982, that a
public nuisance did exist on the premises located at the inter-
section of Greenfield and West End Avenues in said City, and
more particularly described as Marin County Assessor's Parcel
No. 12-031-26. The City Council of San Rafael ordered that the
said property owners abate the public nuisance by no later than
March 15, 1982; and
WHEREAS, said owners of the property did not complete
the abatement within the prescribed time and the abatement was
completed by Fahy Tree Service under contract with the City of
San Rafael pursuant to Section 1.20.130 at a cost of $900.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, pursuant to Section 1.20.150 does
hereby declare that the costs associated with the abatement were
correct and reasonable.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
1.20.160, the costs associated with the abatement shall con-
stitute a special assessment against the respective parcel of
land and shall be recorded in the form of a lien against the
parcel.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the -foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday , thel 7th day of May 1982, by the following
vote, to wit:
