A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
WILLIAM T. BULLARD, JR., FOR LEGAL SERVICES COMMENCING
JULY 1, 1982 AND TERMINATING SEPTEMBER 30, 1982
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on
Monday the 21st day of June
1982 , by the following vote, to wit:

Re: Extension of Interim Legal Services Contract for three
months
Dear Mayor Mulryan and City Councilmembers:
On February 16, 1982, you authorized the Mayor to execute an
agreement with the undersigned for legal services as specified,
running from March 1, 1982, until June 30, 1982. Because the
termination date is approaching and no firm decision has been
made regarding the composition of the legal staff, it appears
advisable to extend the referenced agreement for an additional
period of time. A three-month period was suggested by City
Manager Beyer to enable City officials and staff to propose
and enact a budget and make further determinations subsequently.
A resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute this letter agree-
ment is attached. Passage of the resolution and execution
of this letter agreement by the Mayor shall extend the February 16,
1982, legal services agreement for a three-month period commencing
July 1, 1982 and terminating September 30, 1982.
