RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING THE 1981/82 BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF ADDITIONAL MONIES FROM THE GAS TAX FUND
WHEREAS, the January 4, 1982 storm caused the City of
San Rafael to incur $606,597 in additional unbudgeted expend-
itures; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has required the City
of San Rafael to transfer $64,154.67 from the General Fund into
the Gas Tax Fund as a result of the 1980/81 audit; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael wishes to reverse the
State mandated transfer by increasing the 1981/82 maintenance
transfer to the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 1981/82 budget
is amended by $607,000 to cover storm related expenditures..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is
authorized to transfer an additional $64,154.67 from the Gas
Tax Fund to the General Fund.

San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City on Monday, the 21st day of June , 1982,
by the following vote, to wit:
