RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING CITY OF SAN RAFAEL TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT
GRANT FUNDS FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the San Francisco Foundation administers the Leonard and Beryl Buck Foundation
Trust which is used for support of charitable, religious and educational purposes in
Marin County: and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael is desirous of making application to the San Francisco
Foundation for funds to underwrite the costs of a sculpture exhibit to be held at
Falkirk Community Cultural Center in conjunction with the Twelfth International
Sculpture Conference;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that staff of the City of San Rafael is authorized to
apply for and accept funding for said sculpture exhibit from the San Francisco
Foundation, and the Mayor of San Rafael is hereby authorized to sign subsequent
agreements accepting a grant award for said sculpture exhibit.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of said City held on the sixth day of July, 1982, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
