RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL SUPPORTING AN APPLICATION TO
UMTA FOR FUNDS TO DEVELOP A CRIS AND COM-
MITTING TO PROVIDING IN KIND SERVICES BY
CITY STAFF
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael is committed to developing
effective TSM programs, and
WHEREAS, the development of a Computerized Rider Information
System (CRIS) would assist in meeting that commitment, and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has conceptually supported
a CRIS Project and authorized staff to work on it, by motions at
regular Council meetings, December 7, 1981 and July 19, 1982,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael authorize City staff to apply to the Urban
Mass Transportation Administration (UMTA) for a grant of funds in
the amount of $119,000 to develop a CRIS system in San Rafael.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that if the project is funded by
UMTA, staff is authorized to provide in kind services for the
Management Administration and review of this project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 16th day of August, 1982, by the
following vote, to wit:
