RESOLUT-ION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO WORK WITH COUNTY
OF MARIN IN DEVELOPING A JOINT GRANT
PROPOSAL TO SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, County of Marin Park and Recreation Department has
presented a proposal to establish an endowment fund to assist in
the operation and maintenance of local and county parks, trails,
and open space; and
WHEREAS, funding for endowment fund is being proposed to come
through a grant proposal to the San Francisco Foundation; and
WHEREAS, it is beneficial for local and county agencies to
present a joint proposal to the San Francisco Foundation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael authorize staff to work with County and local agencies
in developing a joint grant proposal to be submitted to the San
Francisco Foundation.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on Monday the 16th day of August ,
1982, by the following vote, to wit:
