A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
WILLIAM T. BULLARD, JR. FOR LEGAL SERVICES COMMENCING
OCTOBER 1, 1982 AND TERMINATING NOVEMBER 30, 1982.
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Monday the twentieth day of September ,

Re: Extension of Interim Legal Services Contract for two months
Dear Mayor Mulryan and City Councilmembers:
On February 16, 1982 you authorized the Mayor to execute an agreement
with the undersigned for legal services as specified, to terminate
June 30, 1982. Said agreement was later extended through September
30, 1982. The latter date is approaching and it would appear that
the contract for legal services should be extended.
The reason for the extension is the intent of the City Council to
review applicants for the position of Assistant City Attorney and
direct interviews.
A resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute this letter agreement
is attached. Passage -of the resolution and execution of this letter
agreement by the Mayor shall extend the February 16, 1982 legal serv-
ices agreement for a two-month period commencing October 1, 1982 and
terminating November 30, 1982.
