A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE STAFF VEHICLE
AND ONE UNDERCOVER VEHICLE FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT
FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff to
solicit bids for one staff vehicle and one undercover vehicle for
the police department; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for
each item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that the following action be taken:
The Hertz Corporation of Millbrae, California be designated as
low bidder for one 1981 Buick and one 1981 Chevrolet Caprice in the
amount of $11,978.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Monday , the twentieth of September 1982, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
