A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY
COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
ONE POLICE MOTORCYCLE UTILIZING
EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff to
solicit bids for one police motorcycle; and
WHEREAS, specificiations were drawn and bids were solicited
for this item on a joint basis with the City of Novato; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that the following actions be taken:
1. Marin Motorsports of San Rafael be designated as
low bidder for one 1982 Kawasaki motorcycle in
the amount of $5,245.94.
2. That Staff ask the City of Novato to purchase
their 4 motorcycles from Marin Motorsports on
the condition that the City of San Rafael reimburse
Novato for the sales tax we would receive on the
4 vehicles.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on the
fourth day of October , 1982, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
