A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL ESTABLISHING A BAIL SCHEDULE FOR
VIOLATIONS OF CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE
WHEREAS, Article III, Section 54 of the City Charter
provides that the City has the right and power to prescribe fines;
forfeitures and penalties for the violation of its ordinances; and
WHEREAS, said bail schedule must be approved by the
judges of the Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the San Rafael City
Council Ordinance No. 1442 was passed amending Title 2,
Chapter 2.36 to allow infraction citations for designated Muni-
cipal Code sections and setting bail schedules for said infrac-
tions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of San Rafael hereby request that the judges of the
Municipal Court approve the bail schedules attached hereto and
marked Exhibit "A".
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday , the 18th day of October 1982, by the
following vote, to wit:
