RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
RATIFYING ACTION TAKEN BY CITY COUNCIL AWARDING LIABILITY
AND COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE FOR YEAR 1982
WHEREAS, the City's current liability and comprehensive insurance
expires on January 4, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the low bid of $55,758 was submitted by Marsh & McLennan
for renewal of our insurance coverage with a $50,000 deductible on our
liability insurance and a $1,000 deductible on our comprehensive insurance
(auto, fire and collision); and
WHEREAS, on January 4, 1982, the regular City Council meeting
was opened and continued to January 18, 1982 by Mayor Mulryan; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council was polled and by a majority
voice vote (Councilmembers Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen and Mayor Mulryan
- Ayes; Noes - None; Absent - Councilmember Frugoli), awarded the insur-
ance coverage effective 12:01 AM, January 4, 1982, to Landmark Insurance
and Twin City Fire Insurance, as proposed by March & McLennan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby ratifies the action previously taken awarding
liability and comprehensive insurance coverage to Landmark Insurance and
Twin City Fire Insurance, as proposed by Marsh & McLennan, effective
12:01 AM, January 4, 1982.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on
Monday , the 18th day of January 1982,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
