A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
Rev. Reuben J. Sequeira, Pastor of the Trinity Community Church,
Regarding Use of San Rafael Hill for Easter Sunrise Services on
April 11, 1982
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Monday the f;ftponth day of March
19 82 , by the following vote, to wit:

AGREEMENT
This AGREEMENT, entered into on this 15th day of

, 1982, between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL (hereinafter
called "CITY") and the TRINITY COMMUNITY CHURCH (hereinafter
called "CHURCH");
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, to provide an inspirational environment for
Easter Sunrise Services and to provide a community service for
those citizens desiring to attend said services, CITY agrees to
permit use of that area generally known as San Rafael Hill by
CHURCH for the purpose of conducting inter -denominational Easter
Sunrise Services, CHURCH hereby agrees to the following:
1. To limit use of said property for the reasonable
purposes attendant to preparing for and conducting
of Easter Sunrise Services.
2. To indemnify and hold harmless City and its employees,
officials, and agents from liability and against all
demands, claims, actions, losses and expenses which
may accrue or arise as a result of this AGREEMENT,
evidence in the form of a Certificate of Insurance of
CHURCH for Comprehensive General Liability in an
amount to be determined by the office of the City
Attorney; or, in the alternative, a Certificate of
Insurance reflecting that CITY is named as an
additional insured for the purposes of indemnification
from liability resulting from the Easter Day ceremonies
on April 11, 1982.
