A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE 3/4 TON CAB
& CHASSIS UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT
FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff
to solicit bids for one 3/4 ton cab & chassis; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited
for this item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff;
and
WHEREAS, the low bid received was from San Rafael Dodge
for a total of $8,869.02.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following actions be taken:
1. That all bids received be rejected because of
the excessive price for this item.
2. That staff be authorized to purchase one Ford
F250 cab & chassis from the State of California
using the state bid for a price of $7,908.38.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael here-
by certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on the nineteenth day of A-pril , 1982, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner & Frugoli
