A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREBWT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of the
City of San Rafael a contract, lease or agreement with
San Rafael School District For Use of Gallinas School Multi -Purpose Room
For After School Day Care Program.
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on Monday the

RENTAL OF A MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM
GALLINAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
This Agreement made this 13th day of January , 1981,
between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, hereinafter referred to as "City", and the SAN
RAFAEL SCHOOL DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as "District".
RECITALS
WHEREAS, City and District are mutually agreeable to an agreement allowing City
to use one-half (1/2) of the Multi -Purpose Rin, or approximately 1,055 sq. ft.,
located at Gallinas Elementary School, 251 North San Pedro Road, San Rafael, for the
1980/81 school year, starting January 5, 1981 and ending June 30, 1981, for the sum
of $200.00 per month.
WITNESSETH
For and in consideration of mutual promises, covenants and conditions hereinafter
contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. City is hereby granted, by District, the right to use one (1) Multi -Purpose
room at Gallinas School for the purpose of providing a child care program.
2. District will furnish utilities, custodial service and maintenance.
3. City agrees to pay a monthly rental charge of $200.00 per month, payable on
the first day of each calendar month.
4. If child care program does not generate enough revenue to cover rental charge
and District and City agree to continue the program the rental charge will be
reduced so that program may continue.
5. City shall indemnify and hold District harmless from any liability for personal
injury or property damage arising out of the use of District facilities by City
pursuant to this Agreement.
6. This Agreement may be amended or terminated by the mutual consent of the parties
hereto and may be cancelled by either party upon thirty (30) days' notice.
