RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING MARIN HERITAGE, A NONPROFIT, TAX
EXEMPT ORGANIZATION, TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS
FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION FOR THE FALKIRK
GREENHOUSE RESTORATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the County of Marin has available funds from the San
Francisco Foundation for repair or historical restoration of
existing facilities; and
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage is desirous of making application to the
San Francisco Foundation for purposes of restoration and rehabili-
tation of the greenhouse complex at FALKIRK in order to provide a
horticultural facility for the people of San Rafael and the County
of Marin; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael concurs with Marin Heritage as
to the goals and objectives of the FALKIRK greenhouse restoration
project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby authorizes Marin Heritage to apply for and accept
funding for 1981/82 as provided by grant award(s) approved by the
San Francisco Foundation; and hereby authorizes the President of
Marin Heritage to sign subsequent agreements for approved grant
award(s).
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
Monday, the nineteenth day of January 1981, by the following vote,
to wit:
