CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
TO
HAL CHASE, JR.
WHEREAS, in a storm of litigation, with ever -darkening clouds of
protest and problems, one HAL CHASE, JR., appeared at the door
of the City Attorney's Office and offered free assistance;
and
WHEREAS, the legal Staff eagerly seized his offer and forthwith put
him to work; and
WHEREAS, HAL CHASE, JR., worked steadily, diligently, and profi-
ciently, without compensation, in the City Attorney's Office,
from August, 1980 until January of 1981; and
WHEREAS, HAL CHASE, JR., never sought nor requested any compensation
nor benefits, but worked for the pure experience alone; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael now finds it appropriate to express
its gratitude for HAL CHASE'S beneficence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby expresses, through the adoption of this
Resolution of Appreciation, its gratitude to HAL CHASE, JR.,
for his aid and assistance to the City of San Rafael.
