RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING
STAFF TO SUBMIT GRANT REQUESTS TO THE CALIFORNIA
ARTS COUNCIL AND SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION FOR
"FAMILY FESTIVALS"
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael Recreation Department seeks
authorization to apply for a California Arts Council Grant for
$4,350 for "Family Festivals" art workshops; and,
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael Recreation Department seeks
authorization to apply for $4,350 of San Francisco Foundation funds
to support "Family Festivals" art workshops; and,
WHEREAS, "Family Festivals" is a series of seven monthly community
art workshops designed to stimulate creative expression and original
thinking in all participants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael authorizes the City of San Rafael Recreation
Department to apply for a California Arts Council Grant for $4,350
for "Family Festivals" art workshops; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City of San Rafael Recreation
Department staff is authorized to apply for $4,350 of San Francisco
Foundation funds to support "Family Festivals" art workshops.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
adjourned
and adopted at a.n,'egular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on Monday the twenty-third day of March, 1981, by the following vote,
to wit:
