A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
AGREEMENT BETWEEN COUNTY SERVICES AREA NO. 13 AND CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
RELATING TO ADVANCE LIFE SUPPORT AND BASIC LIFE SUPPORT EMERGENCY
AMBULANCE SERVICE (PARAMEDIC SERVICE)
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular

OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, THAT THE CHAIRMAN OF SAID BOARD BE AUTHORIZED TO SIGN, AND THE
CLERK OF THE BOARD BE AUTHORIZED TO ATTEST THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
COUNTY OF MARIN, AND THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL TO PROVIDE ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT
AND BASIC LIFE SUPPORT EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE TO COUNTY SERVICE
AREA NO. 13.
WHICH SAID AGREEMENT IS ATTACHED HERETO.
I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED

AGREEMENT BETWEEN COUNTY SERVICES AREA NO. 13
AND CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RELATING TO ADVANCE
LIFE SUPPORT AND BASIC LIFE SUPPORT EMERGENCY
AMBULANCE SERVICE
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this lst day of July, 1981,
by and between the County Services Area No. 13 of the County of Marin,
State of California, hereinafter referred to as "Area" and the City of
San Rafael, hereinafter referred to as "Contractor";
W I T N E S S E T H:
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises and covenants
hereinafter contained, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
Section 1: Contractor shall provide advance life support and
basic life support emergency ambulance service to the residents of Area as
described in Exhitit A attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein.
Section 2: In consideration of the provision of such services
without charge to the residents of Area, Area will pay to Contractor the
sum of twelve dollars ($12.00) minus fifty cents ($0.50) for the service
charge of the County of Marin, said sum and service charge to be paid per
single family dwelling unit in Area for provision of the service from
July 1, 1981 to June 30, 1982, at which time the sum payable and service
charge is subject to negotiation between the parties hereto, and hereby
authorizes the Auditor -Controller of the County of Marin to pay such sum
to Contractor out of the proceeds of the assessment authorized by the
voters of the Area in November, 1979.

North central Marin beginning at the most northerly corner of the 2162 acre
Victor Sartori parcei as described in Book 177 at Page 160 of Official Records,
County of Marin, said point being on the northerly boundary of Rancho San Pedro
Santa Margarita y Las Gallinas; thence leaving said Rancho line southerly along
the westerly line of said Sartori tract to its point of intersection with -the
southerly boundary of said Rancho; thence along said Rancho line easterly to
its intersection with the southwesterly city limits of San Rafael; thence east-
erly along said San Rafael limits, the westerly line of parcel 6 and the south-
erly line of parcel I of CSA 19 to the easterly right of way of Sir Francis Drake
East at San Quentin Point; thence leaving said San Rafael limits and continuing
easterly along the southerly right of way of California State Highway 17 to the
shoreline of San Francisco Bay; thence northerly along the shoreline to the
northerly line of said Rancho San Pedro Santa Margarita y Las Gallinas; thence
westerly along said Rancho to the point of beginning.
Including also the lower deck (eastbound) of the Richmond -San Rafael Bridge
from its westerly terminus to the toll gate area.
