A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with

SAN RAFAEL RELATING TO ADVANCE LIFE SUPPORT EMERGENCY A14BULANCE
SERVICE (PARAMEDIC SERVICE)
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.

certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-

AGREEMENT BETWEEN MARINWOOD COMMUNITY SERVICES
DISTRICT AND CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RELATING TO
ADVANCE LIFE SUPPORT EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this day of
oct_�,, —, 1981, by and between the Marinwood Community Services
District/Of the County of Marin, State of California, hereinafter re-
ferred to as "District", and the City of San Rafael, hereinafter referred
to as "Contractor".

FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises and covenants
hereinafter contained, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
Section 1: Contractor shall provide advance life support emer-
gency ambulance service to the residents of District as described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2: In consideration of the provision of such services
without charge to the residents of District, District will pay to Contractor
the sum of twelve (12) dollars for each living unit per year for provision
of the service from July 1, 1981, to June 30, 1982, and hereby authorizes
the Auditor -Controller of the County of Marin to pay such sum to Contractor
out of the proceeds of the assessment authorized by the voters of District
in November, 1979.
Section 3: If the money is unable to be collected through the
County, the agreement will be null and void.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have set their hand the
date and year first above written.

Porth central Marin beginning at the most northerly corner of the 2162 acre
Victor Sartori parcel as described in Book 177 at Page 160 of Official Records,
County of Marin, said point being on the northerly boundary of Rancho San Pedro
Santa Margarita y Las GalIinas;-thence leaving said Rancho line southerly along
the westerly •1ine of said Sartori tract to its point of intersection with the
southerly boundary of said Rancho; -thence along said Rancho line easterly to
its intersection with the southwesterly city limits of San Rafael; thence east-
erly along said San Rafael- limits, the westerly line of parcel 6 and the south-
erly line of parcel I of CSA 19 to the easterly right of way of Sir Francis Drake
East at San Quentin Point; thence leaving said San Rafael limits and continuing
easterly along the southerly right of way of California State Highway 17 to the
shoreline of San Francisco Bay; thence northerly along the shoreline to the
northerly line of said Rancho San Pedro Santa Margarita y Las Gall-inas; thence
westerly along said Rancho to the point of beginning.
Including also the lower deck (eastbound) of the Richrmnd-San Rafael Bridge
from its westerly terminus to the toll gate area.
