RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SUBMIT GRANT
REQUEST TO CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL
WHEREAS, funds would be used to provide technical
assistance to assist with the developing of a long range plan
for Falkirk Community Cultural Center; and
WHEREAS, funds requested would amount to $10,000; and
WHEREAS, elements of the plan would consist of:
1) Conservation and Restoration; 2) Use Plan; 3) The Art
Gallery; 4) Educational Programming; 5) Membership; 6)
Financial Support and Fundraising Strategies; 7) Collections;
8) Organizational Structure; and, 9) Volunteers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of San Rafael give staff permission to submit a $10,000
grant request to the California Arts Council for technical assistance
to assist in the development of a long range plan.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Monday the 3rd day of August, 1981, by the
following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner & Mayor Mulryan
