A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL CHANGING TWO HOUR AND
FIVE HOUR PARKING METER TIME LIMITS TO
TEN HOUR PARKING METER TIME LIMITS
WHEREAS, Section 5.60.020 of the San Rafael Municipal Code
provides that parking meter time limits be set for the efficient con-
trol and regulation of parking in San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Engineer that certain
two and five hour time limit meters should be changed to ten hour time
limit meters to improve efficiency; and
WHEREAS, these proposed changes have been approved by the San
Rafael Business Improvement District at their general meeting July 28,
1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that 62 parking meters in the
areas listed below are established with ten hour time limits:
- Fifth Avenue and C Street southeast corner parking structure,
upper level, 25 meters.
- Fifth Avenue and D Street southeast corner parking lot, 15
meters.
- 1412 Second Street parking lot, five meters.
- Second Street and C Street northeast corner parking lot, eight
meters.
- Lindaro Street between Second Street and Third Street both
sides, nine meters.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become effective
upon conversion of each meter.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
held on the 17th day of August, 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
