A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE RECONDITIONING
OF A 1962 VAN PELT FIRE ENGINE UTILIZING
EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized Fire Department Staff
to solicit bids for reconditioning of a 1962 Van Pelt Pumper; and
and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited for each item;
WHEREAS, these bids have been reviewed by the Fire Department Staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that
the following action be taken;
AWARD OF CONTRACT TO LOW BIDDER, Grumman Emergency Products, Inc., in
the amount of $78,978.36 for the reconditioning of the 1962 pumper.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City hel d on Tuesday the eighth
day of September , 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
