A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL ORDERING THE NUNES OPEN SPACE
PARCEL "E" ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael
made application (Resolution 6118) to the Marin Local Agency
Formation Commission (LAFCO) to annex the Nunes Open Space
Parcel "E" (Assessor's Parcel 164-280-49); and
WHEREAS, LAFCO approved said annexation (Resolution
81-28) on August 13, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 6179
on September 21, 1981, initiating proceedings for the Nunes
Open Space Parcel "E" annexation; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing on the
annexation was held, at which time all interested parties were
given an opportunity to speak; and
WHEREAS, after conclusion of the public hearing, the
City made the following finding:
1. No written protests were filed prior to con-
clusion of the public hearing by any owners of land within the
territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of San Rafael as conducting authority, orders
annexation of the Nunes Open Space Parcel "E" described in
Attachment A; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City
Council of the City of San Rafael is hereby authorized and
directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the
Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of
the County of Marin.

City on Monday the 2nd day of November 1981, by the following

in the County of Marin
DESCRIPTION
All that real property situate in the County of
as conveyed jointly by and to the County Service
Marin County Open'Space District and to the City
recorded January 11, 1980, in Book 3665 at Page
and more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the southwesterly boundary line of the Rancho San
Pedro Santa Margarita y Las Gallinas, said point being on the existing
Corporate Limits line of the City of San Rafael at the southwesterly terminus
of that certain course described as having a bearing of South 36°00' West
by Ordinance No. 706 (Nunes Ranch Annexation) adopted May 2, 1960, by the
City Council of the City of San Rafael and running thence along said Rancho
line North 45°34'21" West,1923.96 feet; thence leaving said Rancho line and
along the common boundary between the Lands of C.S.A. No. 23 and the Lands of
Luiz the following courses; North 15°48'09" East, 312.40 feet; North 27°34'09"
East, 532.76 feet; North 53°11'09" East,289.33 feet; North 44°10'04" East,
118.39 feet; and North 32°02'04" East, 145.79 feet to the common point of
the Lands of C.S.A. 23 and the Lands of Luiz and the Lands of Melone; thence
along the common boundary between the Lands of C.S.A. 23 and the Lands of
Melone the following courses; South 30041'56" East, 617.62 feet; South
70°03'47" East, 192.36 feet; and North 82°23'06",1848.18 feet to the existing
Limits line of the City of San Rafael at the Westerly terminus of that certain
course described as having a bearing of North 73°32'30" West by aforementioned
Ordinance No. 706; thence along said existing Limits line South 37°57'34"
West,2726.60 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 80.933 acres, more or less.
