RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER
VACATION OF PUBLIC STREET
(Manzanita Lane)
WHEREAS, it appears that Manzanita Lane, between North San
Pedro Road and San Pablo Avenue, and hereinafter described is
unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the Citv of San Rafael hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of the STREET VACATION ACT OF
1941 of the State of California;
2. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby
declares its intention to vacate Manzanita Lane hereinafter described;
3. That the 21st day of December, 1981, at 8:00 p.m., in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, San Rafael, California, is hereby fixed
as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or
objecting to the said proposed vacation;
4. That the Department of Public Works of the City of San
Rafael shall post conspicuously notices of street vacation along the
lines of said public street proposed to be vacated, which notices
shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart but at
least three (3) notices shall be posted as to said street proposed
to be vacated. The said notice shall state time and place of hearing
as hereinabove provided, and the adoption of the within Resolution of
Intention;
5. That said street proposed to be vacated is described on
Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
this reference as though set forth in full.
6. That a map or plan showing said street proposed to be
vacated is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
San Rafael at the City Hall, San Rafael, California.

I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing .Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 16th day of November, 1981, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None

EXHIBIT "A"
All that certain Real Property situate in the City of San Rafael,
County of Marin, State of California, described as follows:
ALL that portion of Manzanita Lane which is shown upon the filed
Map of Subdivision A of Golf Links Tract filed for record in Volume 2
of Maps, at Page 107, which lies within the boundaries of that
certain real property described in the Deeds recorded December 30,
1969 in Book 2347 of Official Records, at Page 555, and recorded
March 21, 1979 in Book 3517 of Official Records, at Page 634,
Marin County Records.
