HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6191RESOLUTION NO. 6191 RESOLUTION ORDERING CLOSING, ABANDONING AND VACATING VARIOUS EASEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 8th day of September , 19 81, adopted Resolution No. 6168 entitled, RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE VARIOUS EASEMENTS; and WHEREAS, said Resolution was posted as required by law; and WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of San Rafael, California, conspicuously posted notices of easement vacation as required by law; and WHEREAS, a hearing was had this day as required by law and said Resolution No. 6168 , at which hearing the Council_ of the City of San Rafael heard evidence offered by persons interested; and WHEREAS, it appears from all of the evidence submitted that the following described easements are unnecessary for present or prospective public use; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the following described easements are unnecessar-y� for present or prospective public use; 2. That the following described easements are hereby ordered closed, abandoned and vacated; 3. That the easements closed, abandoned and vacated are, described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI; City Clerk EXHIBIT A DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENTS TO BE ABANDONED IN MARIN PROFESSIONAL CENTER UNIT 2 The easements to be abandoned are as shown upon the map of Marin Professional Center Unit 2, recorded in Marin County records in Book 10 of record maps at Page 84, and are described as follows; 1. The northwesterly 65.0 feet of the 10 feet by 75 foot public utility easement in Lot 19. 2. The southeasterly 89.96 feet of the 10 foot by 100 foot public utility easement in Lot 22.
