A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE STREET SWEEPER
UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff
to solicit bids for one street sweeper; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited
for this item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken:
That Western Traction Company of Union City, California be
designated as low bidder for one street sweeper in the amount of
$56,826.82.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED AND RESOLVED that a purchase order
be issued to WESTERN TRACTION COMPANY for said piece of equipment.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday , the 19th day of nrtober , 1981,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS : Breiner, Jensen, Mi skimen & Mayor Mul ryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS : None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS : Nixon
