RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY
AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THIRD AND
C STREETS AS A TEMPORARY PUBLIC
PARKING FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael Redevelopment Agency has
leased the property on the southwest corner of Third and C Streets
(Marin County Assessors Parcel Numbers 11-254-02, 11-254-03, and
11-254-04) until December 31, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the purpose for this lease is to provide a temporary
public parking facility at this location; and
WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt under the
provisions of Section 15111 of the State EIR Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, Section 22519 of the California Vehicle Code
requires a resolution designating such public parking facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above mentioned property
is designated as a public parking facility for the duration of the
lease.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of San
Rafael held on the 2nd day of November, 1981, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
