RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
IN CONNECTION WITH THE RENAMING OF CLINTON COURT
TO PLUM TREE LANE
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael,
on the 10th day of November, 1981, recommended the renaming of
Clinton Court, south of Paloma Avenue to Plum Tree Lane;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael
determined that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare
was considered in reviewing the change of street name, and that it
will be in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood;
WHEREAS, the matter came on regularly for consideration
by the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 7th day of
December, 1981;
WHEREAS, evidence, both oral and documentary, was produced
and good cause appearing therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that Clinton Court, south
of Paloma Avenue be renamed to Plum Tree Lane. Said street name
change shall be effective immediately.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday, the 7th day of December, 1981, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryai
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
