ANN BATMAN
A RESOLUTION THANKING ANN BATMAN
AND ITER COMMITTEE OF VOLUNTEERS FOR. THE SUCCESS
OF THE FIRST ANNUAL CHRISTMAS AT FALKIRK PROGRAM
WHEREAS, ANN BATMAN has contributed her time and energies
serving as Chairman of the "Christmas at Falkirk" Program Committee;
and
WHEREAS, the "Christmas at Falkirk" Program Committee was
comprised of representatives :from the Cultural Affairs Commission,
.,iarin Heritage, Cultural Affairs Service League, local interior
designers, florists and individual volunteers; and
VrHEREAS, the efforts of ANN BATMAN and her Committee
brought about a Victorian Christmas at Falkirk that was enjoyed by
hundreds of guests; and
WHEREAS, the success of the "Christmas at Falkirk"
Program raised over Three Thousand Dollars which will go toward
refurnishing Falkirk Community Cultural Center.
NOW'', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael extend their appreciation and thanks to
ANN BATMAN and those volunteers who helped make the "Christmas at
Falkirk" Program possible, and which recreated a Victorian event
that the City of San Rafael can be proud of.
