A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ESTABLISHING PARKING
METER RATES, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council established the park-
ing meter rate for all parking meters in San Rafael at thirty minutes
of legal parking time for each five United States cents deposited in
various combinations as permitted in each time limit zone specified in
Ordinance No. 1345; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 5.60 of the San Rafael Municipal Code
entitled Parking Meters as adopted by Ordinance No. 1359 repeals the
parking meter time zone sections referenced in Ordinance No. 1345 and
establishes parking meter rates by resolution under Section 5.60.060
of said Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking meter rate
for all parking meters in San Rafael is set at thirty minutes of legal
parking for each five United States cents in various combinations of
coins as accepted by each parking meter up to the maximum time period
permitted by each parking meter;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective on February 7, 1980.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on the seventh day of January, 1980, by the following
vote, to wit:
