VICTOR PIZARRO
WHEREAS, on the 26th of December, 1979, FIRE ENGINEER
VICTOR PIZARRO retired as a member of the Fire
Department after having rendered twenty-one
years and ten months of able, dedicated service
to the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, ENGINEER PIZARRO, by virtue of his expertise as
a professional and dedicated member made numerous
contributions to the advancement of the Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, ENGINEER PIZARRO'S dedication to the Department
was reflective in his guidance during the devel-
opment of the Fire Department from its Volunteer
days to its present status as a fully paid pro-
fessional department encompassing seven stations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council wishes
VICTOR PIZARRO good luck in his retirement and
extends him sincere appreciation for his contri-
butions to the betterment of the community's fire
protection system.
