A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL CHANGING ONE-HOUR
PARKING METER TIME LIMITS TO TWO-HOUR
PARKING METER TIME LIMITS
WHEREAS, Section 5.60.020 of the San Rafael Municipal Code
provides that parking meter time limits be set for the efficient con-
trol and regulation of parking in San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Engineer that
certain one-hour time limit meters should be changed to two-hour time
limit meters to improve efficiency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that ninety-five parking
meters in the areas listed below are established with two-hour time
limits:
- Tamalpais Avenue west of the Northwestern Pacific
Railroad tracks between Fourth Street and Fifth
Avenue, east side, eight meters.
- Cijos Street between Third and Fourth Streets,
both sides, nineteen meters.
- Lootens Place between Fourth Street and Fifth
Avenue, west side, six meters.
- Court Street between Fourth Street and Fifth
Avenue, west side, four meters.
- 'A' Street between Fourth Street and Fifth Avenue,
east side, seven meters.
- Julia Street between 'A' and 'B' Streets, north
side, eight meters.
- 'B' Street between Fourth Street and Fifth Avenue,
west side, eight meters.
- 'C' Street between Third and Fourth Streets, east
side, eight meters.
- 'D' Street between Third Street and Fifth Avenue,
both sides, twenty-seven meters.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other parking meters not
specified herein shall have their maximum time limit set as specified
thereon;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective on February 7, 1980.

I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on the 21st day of January, 1980, by the following
vote, to wit:
