A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING PAST RESOLUTIONS
PERTAINING TO COMPENSATION AND ESTABLISHING
PAY CLASSIFICATIONS FOR PART-TIME, TEMPORARY,
INTERMITTENT AND SEASONAL WORKERS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael
that the wages herein established are on an hourly basis and that em-
ployees who work part-time shall be paid for time actually worked. The
following pay classifications are hereby established:

Section 3. General Services

Section 4. Full-time Equivalents
Following are part-time positions which are equivalent to
full-time positions in duties performed. They are compensated based upon
the hourly wage rate for the corresponding step of the full-time equiva-
lent position. When considering a step increase for a part-time employee,
he/she must have at least one year of satisfactory service and have worked
at least 700 hours during the preceding year. If said employee does not
qualify for a step increase after the first year of service, he/she will
be considered for that increase upon completion of the minimum 700 hour
requirement. This provision applies to all positions listed in this
resolution except Weed Abatement Aide, Street Maintenance Aide, Park
Maintenance Aide, Islands/Parkway Maintenance Aide and Water Truck Driver.

Effective July 1, 1980 and July 1, 1981, respectively, these
part-time positions will automatically be increased to correspond with
their full-time equivalents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Rafael that the following part-time salaried positions are hereby
established:

I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the fourth day of February 1980, by the following vote,
