A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
Fred Strebel - Art Loan Agreement for Painted Steel Sculpture
from May 2, 1980 - August 1, 1980 - For display in front of San Rafael
City Hall
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Tuesday the 19th day of February
1980 , by the following vote, to wit:

1. Reproduction. LENDER hereby gives the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL the right to photograp4 pr

reproduction, education or publicity, and the right to permit any peppon or persgR} to
do the same.
2. Installation. Art is installed at sole risk of BORROWER who will ln4pmify lix♦d,hold
hannless the ARTIST for any and all damages for injury to persons car property �.p`�ux'red
during installation and display of art. ARTIST will install art for pl inst4T -*on

3. Insurable Value. The CITY OF SAN RAFAEL will be liable for reasonable and ftr vglue
of any loss or destruction of or damage to the described articles) during the .�i►pe

monetary limit specified below.
4. Aciciowledgement. BORROWER will accurately post acknowledgement of art of ARTTW pnd
will promptly refer interested parties to ARTIST. ,

to act as the agent for the owner in connection with the loan.
G. The art will rgnain at designated site, for the period of three
