A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf
of the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement
RATIFYING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN RAFAEL HIGH SCHOOL
DISTRICT RE MATCHING FUNDING FOR IMPROVEMENT OF FRONTAGE FIELD ($50.000
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of March, 1980, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None

AGREEMENT
This Agreement entered into this '`t" day of /,
1980, by and between the City of San Rafael, hereinafter referred o
as "City," and the San Rafael High School District, hereinafter re-
ferred to as "District."
WHEREAS, District is the owner of certain property at the
San Rafael High School which property is presently undeveloped; and
WHEREAS, It would be of great benefit to the students of
District and to the citizens of San Rafael at large if said property
could be developed into playing fields;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY AGREED by and between the
parties hereto as follows:
1. City, upon the signing of this Agreement, shall provide
District with $50,000.00 from revenue sharing funds.
2. District shall provide the additional work, equipment,
supplies and funds necessary to complete the project, the total cost
which is estimated to be $100,000.00. The design and actual construc-
tion of the facilities shall be the responsibility of District.
