RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF AN
AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as
follows:
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute, on behalf
of the City of San Rafael, an agreement with ELY CAILLOUETTE, JR.,
to provide, upon request, professional services in the capacity as
a consultant to the Department of Public Works, a copy of which is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated herein by this
reference.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 5th day of May, 1980, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:

AGREEMENT FOR
CONSULTING SERVICES
Ai THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this STM day of
1980, by and between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL,
hereinafter referred to as CITY, and ELY CAILLOUETTE, JR., herein-
after referred to as CONSULTANT.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, after fifteen years of dedicated service as the
Director of Public Works/City Engineer of the City of San Rafael,
CONSULTANT has elected to retire effective May 31, 1980, and
WHEREAS, in the interest of continuity during the transi-
tional period subsequent to CONSULTANT'S retirement, CITY wishes to
engage CONSULTANT to render professional services when requested and
necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants
and agreements contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. CITY hereby requests CONSULTANT to provide professional
services when requested by CITY'S Director of Public Works.
2. CONSULTANT agrees to provide said services, including
but not limited to, consultation on Department matters and review of
pending and on-going City and Redevelopment projects.
3. In consideration of performing said services, CONSULTANT
shall be compensated at the rate of $18.00 per hour (salary upon
retirement).
4. This Agreement shall be terminated at any time by CITY
or CONSULTANT upon thirty days written notice.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
Agreement the day and year first written above.
