RESOLUTION NO. 5898
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL ESTABLISHING TWENTY-FOUR
MINUTE PARKING METERS ON BROOKS STREET
WHEREAS, Section 5.60.020 of the San Rafael Municipal Code
provides that parking meter time limits be set for the efficient con-
trol and regulation of parking in San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Engineer that
three parking stalls on Brooks Street should be established as twenty-
four minute parking areas to improve efficiency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that three twenty-four minute
time limit parking meters be installed on the East side of Brooks
Street between Second Street and Third Street;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective immediately.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on the 5th day of May, 1980, by the following vote,
to wit:
