A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO FIRE VEHICLES
AND FOUR POLICE VEHICLES UTILIZING EQUIPMENT
REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff
to solicit bids for four Police undercover vehicles and two Fire
Department vehicles; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited
for each item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following actions be taken:
The Hertz Corporation of Millbrae, California be desig-
nated as low bidder for two station wagons and four medium sized
sedans in the amount of $25,408.20.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Monday , the 18th day of August , 1980, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Miskimen, Nixon & Acting Mayor Jensen
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Mayor Mulryan
