RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION TO THE
MARIN LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION
IS MADE FOR AN ANNEXATION
PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL ORGANIZATION ACT
(Lands of Hilton — 909 Patricia Way)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Organization Act of 1977, commencing
with Section 35000 of the California Government Code, a City Council representing
the City of San Rafael may, by resolution adopted by this legislative body,
initiate proceedings involving annexation to said city; and
WHEREAS, the subject territory is located in the County of Marin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. Application, which is hereby made to the Marin Local Agency
Formation Commission of the County of Marin, proposes the following:
A. This proposal is made pursuant to, and is in compliance with
provisions of the Municipal Organization Act of 1977.
B. Said application requests that proceedings be taken for annexation
of uninhabited territory affecting the City of San Rafael.
C. The boundaries of the affected territory are illustrated on an
attached map, and are described in Exhibit A, an attached legal description.
D. This proposal is submitted for the following reason: to eliminate
island of unincorporated land within City boundaries.
E. Municipal services which shall be required include: Police and
Fire protection, street and sewer maintenance, recreation services.
Section 2. This resolution is submitted and shall be accompanied by a
plan for services prepared by the affected city pursuant to Section 35102 of the
California Government Codes.
Section 3. The Clerk of the City Council of the City of San Rafael is
hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with
the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of
Marin.

LANDS OF HILTON ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
Description
Being that portion of the Lands of Hilton, as recorded in Book 3311 of Deeds
at page 645 of Marin County Records, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the easterly line of the Lands of Hilton, said point
being on the westerly line of. Lot One of the Map of Las Colindas Unit Nine
as recorded in Book 12 of Maps at page 65 of Marin County Records and being
distant thereon north 120 00' east, 51.21 feet from the common southwesterly
corner of said Lot One and the northwesterly corner of Lot 115 of the Map of
Las Colindas Unit 4 as recorded in Book 8 of Maps at page 49 of Marin County
Records; thence from said Point of Beginning and along the Lands of Hilton
the following courses: South 120 00' west, 51.21 feet; south 100 59' 37"
west 49.726 feet along the westerly line of said Lot 115 to the northeasterly
corner of the Lands of Dixie School District; north 700 41' west, 115.96
feet to the southerly corner of Lot 19 of the Map of Las Colindas Unit Eight
as recorded in Book 10 of Maps at page 120 of Marin County Records; along the
easterly line of said Lot 19 north 190 19' east 100.00 feet to a point on the
westerly line of the Lands of Hilton; south 700 41' east 102.26 feet, to the
Point of Beginning.
Containing approximately 10,860 square feet.
