A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
San Rafael School District to utilize Bahia Vista School portable classroom as
day care facility.
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said

LEASE AGREEMENT
RENTAL OF A PORTABLE CLASSROOM
This Agreement made this 14th day of October , 1980,
between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, hereinafter referred to as "City", and the
SAN RAFAEL SCHOOL DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as "District"
RECITALS
WHEREAS, City and District are mutually agreeable to an agreement
allowing City to use one (1) Portable Classroom, of approximately 900 sq.ft.,
located at Bahia Vista Elementary School, 125 Bahia Way, San Rafael, for
the 1980/81 school year, starting September 1, 1980 and ending June 30,
1981, for the sum of $200 per month.
WITNESSETH
For and in consideration of mutual promises, covenants and conditions
hereinafter contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. City is hereby granted, by District, the right to use one (1) Port-
able Classroom at Bahia Vista Elementary School for the purpose of pro-
viding a Child Care Program.
2. District will furnish utilities, Custodial service and maintenance.
3. The City agrees to pay a monthly rental charge of $200 per month,
payable on the first day of each calendar month.
4. City shall indemnify and hold District harmless from any liability
for personal injury or property damage arising out of the use of District
facilities by City pursuant to this Agreement.
