HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5988RESOLUTION NO. 5988 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL SETTING TWO- HOUR PARKING METER TIME LIMITS WHEREAS, Section 5.60.020 of the San Rafael Municipal Code provides that parking meter time limits be set for the efficient con- trol and regulation of parking in San Rafael; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5987 establishes two new off-street parking lots located at Fifth Avenue opposite Garden Lane, (A.P. No. 11- 224-05 & 06), and Lootens Place and Commercial Place, southeast corner, (A.P. No. 11-271-16), as parking meter zones, and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Engineer that parking in the two above described lots should have a two-hour time limit to maximize efficiency; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all parking meters on the above described lots be set with a two-hour time limit; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become effective on November 5, 1980. I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on the 6th day of October, 1980, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Nixon J .
