RESOLUTION NO. 5995
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1980 - JUNE 30, 1981 BY
AN INCREASE OF $1,875 TO SATISFY TRAINING RE-
QUIREMENTS AND REVISIONS NEEDED FOR
THE EMERGENCY PLAN
WHEREAS, the City has legal and moral obligations to
operate an Emergency Operations Center and provide services
in the event of a major emergency, and;
WHEREAS, the Emergency Plan has not been updated for
five years, and
WHEREAS, the Emergency Preparedness Exercise of
August 21, 1980 demonstrated a serious need for a complete
revision of our basic emergency plan and for further training
and exercise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5958
is hereby amended to provide an additional $1,875 appropriation
for training requirements and revisions of the Emergency Plan.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San
Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council of said City on Monday , the 20th
day of
