RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL ENDORSING THE PASSAGE OF
PROPOSITION ONE, THE CALIFORNIA PARKLANDS ACT OF 1980
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL endorses the passage
of Proposition One, the California Parklands Act of 1980. As a
measure on the California ballot in November, 1980, Proposition
One provides for the sale of general obligation bonds in the amount
of $285,000,000.00 to finance new parks and development and
rehabilitation of existing parks.

WHEREAS, the aforementioned evidence established contends
WHEREAS, Proposition One will provide funding for neighbor-
hood parks, county parks, regional parks and State parks;
WHEREAS, Proposition One will assist the City of San Rafael
in the development, renovation and expansion of City parks;
WHEREAS, Proposition One takes into account the aforementioned
facts and establishes that Proposition One will benefit the citizens
of the City of San Rafael,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council endorses Proposition One on the November, 1980 ballot.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Monday, the twentieth day of October,1980, by
the following vote, to wit:
