RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL, AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
FOR REPAIR OF STAINED GLASS WINDOWS AT FALKIRK
COMMUNITY CULTURAL CENTER
WHEREAS, Reports from two stained glass specialists were
given to the Cultural Affairs Commission indicating the urgency
for repair of the stained glass windows at Falkirk Community
Cultural Center; and
WHEREAS, the Cultural Affairs Commission unanimously passed
a motion at their October 2, 1980 commission meeting to request
that the City Council appropriate $10,000.00 to repair the
stained glass windows;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael approves the appropriation of $10,000.00 for
repair of stained glass windows at Falkirk Community Cultural
Center; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City of San Rafael staff is
authorized to proceed to solicit bids for the repair of stained
glass windows at Falkirk Community Cultural Center.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Monday the twentieth day of October, 1980, by
the following vote, to wit:
